board and advisory
A sitting operator, on a board, in the room where Europe gets decided

I am an excellent operator in the middle of this market-collapse. I carry a revenue number across EMEA today, which is the reason a board conversation with me is about the current market rather than the one I left.
what I bring
EMEA
Four markets that share a continent and nothing else. What actually changes between them: procurement, contract structure, decision pace, and who has to be convinced first.
Commercial model design
Pricing, packaging and contract structure, including the parts that decide renewal economics long before renewal. Built and rebuilt against real quota, not in a model.
Building and running a European commercial team
Hiring, structuring and holding a multi-country team to a number, including the unglamorous mechanics: territory logic, comp design, forecast discipline.
what I am looking for
- Independent or advisory seats at companies expanding into Europe, where the European question is a board-level question rather than a hiring plan.
- Advisory roles at DACH companies with an international shareholder, where the shareholder and the management team need the same market read.
- One or two seats at a time, alongside the operating role. I would rather be useful on two boards than listed on five.
the research, briefly
90%
Chance that at least one member of a ten-person buying committee is gone before a deal closes. Derived from a 10.1-month average cycle (6sense, n≈4,000) against 24% annual sales and marketing turnover (Pave, n=396,000+).
I publish this work with its definitions and limitations attached. At board level it matters for one reason: pipeline coverage and forecast confidence are being calculated against an assumption that no longer holds.
